Yet another stellar performance by the Tigers coming out on top over SC 2-0! From the get go the Tigers controlled the game passing around SC. The Tigers never let up and played better as the game went on! Our first goal was scored by Shantai Bowen assisted by Summer Stout in the 1st half of the game. Summer sent a long ball in the air to Shantai who then got a foot in the air and redirected the ball with her back being to goal placing it in the top right hand side of the goal. Very impressive goal by Shantai (Tiny)! After that goal the girls came out and played harder then ever. We ended up scoring another goal just 5 minutes into the second half by Sydnee Imlay who was assisted by Carly Stratton. Sydney caught the goalie off guard getting a shot off just inside the 18 that found the back of the net nicely! Tigers had 21 shots on goal. The defense held SC to just 7 shots on goal! Bailee had the shutout for the Tigers in goal. She made a huge save for us on a free kick just inches outside the 18 yard box with no time remaining in the 1st half. Also little Lynn shut down there go to player on the wing who is extremely fast. She did and awesome job denying her the ball all game long!!!
